Vedran Pavlicevic was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1979. At the age of 7 he moved to Ferrol and Madrid, Spain, due to his father’s basketball career as head coach of Taugres and Clesa Ferrol, where he finished the Spanish elementary school Ramon y Cajal. At the age of 14 he moved to Greece due to his father’s work as HC of Panathinaikos and later on with KK Split, where he, once back in Croatia, finished the prestigious International Baccalaurate school of Zagreb. He then moved to the United States, to pursue a degree in Architecture at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where in 2003 he received a Master of Architecture. He continued to pursue his career as an architect in Zagreb, working for the awarded architecture and design firm Proarh. After several years working in the field of architecture, he realized he could not neglect a calling that was present in his life since childhood – BASKETBALL! He then received his FIBA license in Geneva, Switzerland in 2015, and started to work as a FIBA Agent helping to connect players with teams around the globe. Since then he has developed a strong and wide network of connects with teams from most countries in Europe, as his primary market, and a large part of South America as his secondary market, where he places talented players every year! He is known for his hard work, dedication, no-nonsense style of negotiation and a straightforward but personal approach with clients. One of his fondest memories of basketball includes passing balls after practices to the legendary late Drazen Petrovic. A moment that shaped his view and love for the sport of basketball, and the earliest tell sign of his successful future FIBA Management career!
